I went there to try on some dresses. They were very nice I wasnt too thrilled with their selection, but that's probably because I was looking for a particular style that they just didnt happen to have many of. FYI, call ahead if you have a particular designer you are looking for. The staff was very nice though. They did tell me that they could pretty much get any dress I wanted, but I ended up going with BR in Carle Place because they had the dress for me to try on and they offered the best price.
I tried on dresses there. The staff was very nice. I just didnt find a dress I loved. You aren't allowed to take pictures there.
I've had the opposite experience. I live in the Manhasset, so I thought once I got engaged, that would be the first place I'd go since it was right there! Well the manager was the one helping me and she was rude and rushed me through everything. She was making snide comments the whole time about how she didn't have time for us and how busy the store was going to get. I mean, I MADE AN APPT!!! I also saw her measuring a girl that was waiting there for a bridesmaid's dress. She was awful to her and kept making mean comments about her body and how disproportiate she was. The girl looked like she was going to burst into tears. i felt, so, so bad for her. Right then and there I left figuring, if they could do that to someone, i didn't want to support them with my business. Ever since telling this story to friends, I've hear of similar experineces. I'm sure every one has a different story...just sharing mine.
