i searched the review boards but wasn't able to come across anything...i'm planning an event there and was wondering if anyone had been to a wedding or other event there?

I went to a wedding there last October, it was a lot of fun! The mansion is beautiful. very pretty grounds and decor.
The ONLY negative was, this wedding was a mansion style wedding so you eat and the first 2-3 hours, its not a sit down dinner, its hand passed appetizers etc..then you move to the main room for dancing and drinking but no food and there are limited seats. Different style wedding but still fun!

I went 2 years ago and it was one of the best weddings I've been to!
It WAS a sit down dinner just like every wedding of that type, we danced, had courses, and the food was INCREDIBLE!!!!
I know they are a little pricey, but in my opinion, totally worth it.
The cocktail hour was in a different room and outside, it was so beautiful!

Hi, I graduated from NYIT in their culinary program. The deseversky is another campus of NYIT. I have been to a function there, and let me say the place is beautiful. The grounds are wonderful as well as the manison. My Italian cuisine class prepared acouple of dishes also other classes did to. The head chef in charge does wonderful work.
I was looking into having my wedding there but My FH and I thought is was alittle to far for our guest to travel and it wouldn't be able to hold the amount of guest we needed. If I lived alittle closer and my list was smaller, I would definitely have it there.
