Has anyone been to BARBADOS?!

A good friend of mine is going and has a few questions that I thought you girls might be able to help with. Has anyone gone to Barbados? ANd if you have...

1) How safe is it?
2) How expensive is the food? They're not staying at an all-inclusive
3) Are there any recommendations on what to do?

I went there on a cruise when I was 13 with my family (so I know this is really no help!) but it was our favorite stop in the cruise by far. We absolutely loved it--it was beautiful! And it was safe.

FH's grandparents love it as well...I think they went there on a cruise and then booked a vacation there.

I went there back in 2007, with a friend and stayed at an all-inclusive. I don't know if the food is expensive, because we stayed where it was included.

We didn't have safety concerns... but like any place they have their shady places and their tourist places.

Plenty of things to do! Water sports, which we went scuba diving, turtle watching on a boat, rum tasting, shopping (duty free). We also did this land/sea tour of the island which was beautiful! The beaches are gorgous so just hang by the water too!
