Capri is going to be one of the stops we make in our Italian honeymoon and I am wondering if anyone remembers how much it is to dine on Capri (just looking for a range). Thanks ladies!

Re: Has anyone been to Capri Italy recently?
I went for one day on our honeymoon in 2002. I dont remember exactly but I think it was the same price as everywhere else in Italy. Sorry, I dont remember too much from that day in terms of where we ate, etc.. but I didnt think it was any more or less expensive.
However, the dollar has not performed well against the Euro since so everything in Europe is a lot more than it was just a few years ago.

Hmm. Basically, what I am trying to figure out is if it is worth it to upgrade a few hundred dollars to a nicer hotel that includes breakfast and a gourmet dinner in it's cost.

The travel agent had suggested the Quisisana and a few that were not as expenisive. and I am wondering if the price is worth it.

Re: Has anyone been to Capri Italy recently?
So the big decision NOW is: is it worth it to plurge for two nights here or should we go one step down and stay for three nights in Capri at a less expensive place?
FH wants to stay for three nights, I think I like the looks of the Quisisana. I don't think we can afford 3 nights at the Quisisana, though...
maybe I should flip a coin.
Either way, let's pack our bags and leave ASAP

We went to Capri on our HM a few years back... I'd be more inclined to say stay at the cheaper place. The touristy things such as the Grotto run quite a bit of moola! But regardless-HAVE FUN!! It's beautiful!!
