I went with FH to Secrets in the Dominican Republic a while ago. It was amazing!! We have never had service anywhere like we did there. The food was excellent and there were a million places to eat. on the resort There was a lot of nightlife on the property and the place was immaculate!!

FH took me to Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa last year. It was TERRIFIC! What a romantic and relaxing resort. There were tons of activities, the pools were beautiful, and the food was good. Also, there are dolphins (as part of Delphinus, you can pay to swim w/ them) in the Lagoon and there are rooms overlooking them!
we went to excellence riviera cancun and loved it - we are in the process of booking another trip in december to excellence playa mujeres. i was spoiled by the resort and the service! i've heard great things about dreams and secrets as well.
