Years ago Terrace on the park had such a good reputation. My boyfriends highschool prom was held there and it was so nice. When we were looking for a place for our wedding the first place we went to was terrace on the park. We remembered it and we are from queens so it was convienient. We did not book them. The price is about $100 per person plus tax and the place has not been kept well. It seemed a little run down compared to other places we looked at. We did not get a good impression and commented about how disapointed we were. I am sure that others may feel differently but I just didn't feel good about it. Its too bad because we were kind of hoping to have our reception there.

I agree with anitsiva. I went there because in the magazines it looks so nice. What a misleading picture. It was very old fashion inside. Very pink and not what I expected at all. It was not my taste.

I went there when I was looking for a location, the guy quickly went through the menue with us. However, he didn't have anything for me to take home and look at. I wasn't impressed.

I was a moh in a wedding this past labor day. It was a 530pm ceremony 615pm reception with cocktail hour. Cocktail hour was wonderful reception was ok however we were informed that we could have the use of the facility for pictures and preparation starting at 2pm. Well we arrived we were escorted to a bridal suite on the groung floor our bridal suite was to be on the top floor since thats where the reception was scheduled well ps they tried to cover up the fact that there was a leak in the bathroom and a electrical problem in the bridal suite we were to have, we found out about that after we insisted to be placed in out original room. The attendent that was to be with the bride starting at 2pm which was paid for didnot show up until 515pm They were unaware that the florist Spetz and Peck(beautiful) were in the building they kept telling us that no additional vendors for the party have arrived, soof course me being the moh I had to track the whereabouts of the florist down ps they had arrived at terrace in the park at 130 to setup. Oh but the topper was thm demanding that my friend and her husband pay the matre d up front int full 800 a week before the wedding. In fear that she would receive poor service she bargined with them and paid half. PS they never saw the other half. Good Luck.Welcome New Vendors
