I haven't been to a wedding there, but mine's there in October. The food looks great and as soon as they're done with the renovations we're going to go for a tasting. Have you been there to meet with anyone yet? FM me if you have any questions, I'll do my best to help!

Crescent is AMAZING!!! That was my first choice, but I couldn't afford it. I've been to weddings there, and they are always PERFECT! My girlfriend had her ceremony there too - sunset overlooking the water - sooo beautiful!

I have, but not for a wedding. I was there way back in 1995 for a prom (not mine, a friend's) and it was beautiful. I've heard nothing but good things about it since then as well.

the location is AMAZING. however, i wasn't impressed w/ the indoor cocktail room. i am sure it is going to be breathtaking after the renovations though.

if interested, i would book now. i know that it is pricey, but will probably be even more after the renovations.

good luck!

I've been to a wedding there and everything was beautiful...food, service, decor, etc.

I agree with Skew, the cocktail hour was not impressive, but the wedding overall was wonderful...

You should definitely try to book before the rennovations are done because the price is supposed to go up about $30 a plate. As for the CH room, it was small, but they've knocked down a wall and filled in the pool to add a lot more room.

the cocktail hour room is actually going to be half in and half out which will make it a lot larger than it was..the place will be beautiful after the renovations..i was going to go there but i was afraid of rain..i didn't want the stress of wondering whether it would rain..

We're getting married at the Crescent in 25 days!!! Unfortunately we were there today because we heard the renovations that were promised to be finished mid-March still aren't done. We were happy to see all the work that was going on but with only 25 days to go, I don't see how they will be finished in time. We are planning to do the ceremony there also. I have been so relaxed & happy with all the planning but now I am so very upset & worried. I mean I know logically I shouldn't worry cause there's nothing I can do about it now but I don't even want to go to sleep tonight cause I can just imagine the wedding nightmares. However, if it wasn't for this problem I would be so happy right now cause I really do love everything about the Crescent - the beach location with the beautiful views, the relaxed & fun atmosphere, & I love the food there. Other than drugs, anyone have advice on how to remain calm considering my dilema.

It's a nice place. Should be a lot nicer after the renovations
I went to a wedding there a few months ago. Cocktail hour food was pretty good. My FH and I didn't think the entrees were great and neither did the rest of the table (not bad at all but not great). I was very surprised - even the bride commented that she expected better.
Still - it is a nice place and they know what they are doing. The beach is great and the view is amazing
