i know I might get heat from this, and I am not bashing anyone who has had, or is having their wedding there buut... I only went to one wedding there, and was not impressed. I was actually very annoyed. for CH the plates were dirty, FH had to go through at least 10 before he could find a clean one, and reception the waitress spilled the wine bucket all over our table, and didnt come back to clean it up- I had white wine all over my dress the whole nite, the champage glasses at our table had lipstick stains on them, and the water glass had orange pulp dried to the edge. my duck was raw- asked to get it coooked more, and she never came back with my food. cake time- very good cake, but our whole table didnt have forks, we asked our waitress and she finally brought them, and cleared our plates 5 minutes later. I have to say maybe my view is a little tainted because our waitress succked, maybe others had a great time, but if you are paying a lot of money I would expect the service to be outsanding for every table!

i had an appointment with them when researching rh's. They are reasonably priced and i heard their food is great. I think it really depends the style of wedding u are looking for. I didn't go for it because i like the 'gaudy' look and since it's a country club you really don't get that. So again, really nice, but depends on your style.

Try doing a search - there are a TON of girls here that have gotten married at FH. Take a look on the Brides Review Board as well...

Good luck!

ETA - My husband and I went to a wedding at the FH about 4.5 years ago, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the service was great. We actually looked into having our own wedding there, but we weren't thrilled with the room they were offering us, or the sheisty banquet manager (Charlie )

I would def recommend going there. I'm biased since I'm having my wedding there but def check out the Fox Hollow thread! So many people on here have gotten married there and loved it! Of course you are going to have some bad reviews but if the good outweigh the bad then that is good!

We looked there a few months ago and were quoted $109 per person with a 200 min. for their largest room. This was for a Saturday night in July. I have personally heard both good and bad reviews about Fox Hollow....the reason we didn't book there is because it was too far from where we lived. Inside it is really nice and they offer you a ton of food! Good luck!

They are def reasonable- we are getting married on a Sunday in the afternoon. So far I have no complaints- but I would say you would have to check it out for yourself. Keep in mind- every RH has their good days and bad days- it is hard to keep an open mind- trust me I know but it pays to! Good luck!

The prices are the most reasonable i've seen. we got quote for $55 for a sat. afternoon in march!! other months are a bit more pricey but nothing too expensive at all.
it's a beautiful hall and they seem to include ALOT in the package!

Put it this way...I visited 21 places on Long Island and it was no contest - Fox Hollow was, for me, the absolute best (it was the 20th place I saw - glad I kept looking!).

I just got married there this October and my wedding couldn't have been more perfect.

Fox Hollow isn't a country club...

Yes, it has 'country club' in the name, but it's not a country club like a golf club or soemthing of that nature ... Crest Hollow Country Club is the same, I believe - not a real country club.

It was exactly what I wanted in a RH. The room is beautiful the food is abundant and great. I obviously am not married yet but I think it's worth a visit.

It does? I thought it was was just called The Fox Hollow. It definitly isnt a country club.

Anyway...as stated earlier, that one post on here is the only bad things I've heard and of course all places have negative reviews and reviews are subjective anyway. I've been there for a wedding and am having my wedding there. They give you so much for what you pay and while they may not be the best to deal with it, they definitly do a great job.
