has anyone been to Villa Lombardis?

I want to have my wedding there,but I tie between that place and the watermill.

lol I have a tie between Villa and CLM. I can't decide! Villa is really pretty. the room where they do cocktail is beautiful. Watermill is nice, but the room they showed us for the reception was downstairs and I thought it was a little dark. You might have a different experience.

I was at two weddings there in 2008...the first I was the MOH, and the second I was a guest. It's gorgeous there, and the food is really as good as it gets. We didn't have any problems with them, the were really attentive and nice to work with for the wedding I was in. Good luck!

I've never been to villa lombardi's, but i ate at the restaurant, momma lombardi's and the food was AMAZING!!!! My parents went to a wedding at the watermill maybe 10 years ago and my dad is still RAVING about the food there - he loved it and was so impressed!! I don't think you can go wrong with either choice! I saw the watermill and think its beautiful! Good luck with your choice!

I didn't actually attend a wedding as a guest but I did shoot a wedding there when I used to work for a photography studio and I thought they place was amazing. And the food is so delicious (we got to eat mostly during the cocktail hour and then I can't remember what they served us for dinner but it was good none the less).

Yeah thats is what I keep hearing but we got quote 172.00pp for a Saturday afternoon. I thinks its a bit mich.

I have dreamed of Villa Lombardi's since I was a little girl..I was in a fashion show there & knew this was where I wished I could have my wedding. But money is an object, & we almost didn't even entertain the thought of looking there (even though our wedding is on a Thursday to cut costs even more.)..but FSIL's had her wedding at Lombardi's on the Sound & her SIL used to work at Villa & had her wedding there. So they convinced us to just go look... All I can say is after looking at so many places, Villa was going to give us the most for our money. The other places wanted to charge us more & give us almost nothing for the cocktail hour! I have been to many functions at the Watermill, as well as 2 weddings. It is very pretty there too. I think it is a matter of taste. I'm 100% Italian & love the 'gaud' of Villa haha but one thing I will say is that you know with Lombadi's, any of them, the food is amazing & you do get sooo much!! I didn't think the food was bad at the Watermill, but I personally think Lombardi's is in a league of their own GOOD LUCK & keep us posted!!
*by the way they also opned Lombardi's on the Bay in Patchogue too!

Hey girlie!!

We are having our wedding at Villa Lombardis in January 2011. We have been to so many weddings in the past few years and we fell in love with that one from the second we walked in the door.

If your families are big on GREAT food - Villas is the place to go - in my opinion!!!

I dont know much about Watermill besides the fact that I drive by it every day on my way to work - but Villas definitely is the place for us! <3

I just got married at Villa Lombardi's in July! I cannot even tell you how amazing my wedding was! Everything from the food to the service was just incredible! We are still getting compliments about it! Feel free to FM me with any questions!

I visited both Villa Lombardis and Watermil! They were both very beautiful! However, I must say that I like the space at Villa Lombardis more than the Watermill. The cocktail area was very nice and so was the ceremony space! What I liked about the Watermill was that the room downstairs had a seperate room for the bar!! All in all, they are both really beautiful!!!

I'm getting married at Villa Lombardis in 2011. We are having a Friday night wedding in November. I originally wanted to get married in May but every place we went to was way out of our range. They really worked with us at Lombardis and we were willing to change our date to November for financial reasons! I really love it there! Everyone told me how gawdy it was but personally I didn't think it was at all. It looks like they really keep the place clean and I have heard the food is amazing! It is worth checking out!!

I went to a wedding there in Sept '08...I cant tell you how amazing the food there was! The Cocktail hour was off the hook and the dinner was delicious. They had a cheesecake martini bar afterwards and I thought that was wonderful...I thought the place was great and would have looked there myself but it was too far for us! Good luck!

Lombardi's is amazing! I have been to so many events at Villa, & have a wedding on the Sound coming up on June. My wedding is going to be at their new location in Patchogue- on the Bay. If you like Lombardi's but feel that Villa might be a little pricey- definately check out the Bay. Since they are relatively new, they may still have some opening discounts Good Luck!

I've been there once when I worked for a wedding photgraphy studio and I thought the wedding there was beautiful and the food that I was able to eat from the CH and the dinner they served me was phenomenal!
