I am attending a baby shower in a couple of weeks. I offered to do the wishing well. I have a large natural basket and I have dowels for the roof. First should I paint the basket white???and then How to do and decorate to roof?

for our friend's bridal shower, I believe we used a large laundry basket, the sides of the well were a broom and a mop and then the roof was a small wicker basket that could be used as a magazine basket in the home. I think we just decorated it with bows and what not and then we told people to bring any kind of household cleaning supplies to throw in to it,

When I did my MOH I took tulle and wrapped it around the top with flower vines on the dowels. I have pictures if you would like.

Could you please post pics. I didnt´know these were done. What do you use them for?
I had the idea of going something like this as my 'guest book' for the wedding where people could put wishes for us. Then I was going to take that and scarpbook my own guestbook with pics of each of the guests.

I did a wishing well for my MOH's bridal shower. I will put pictures in my album. For my wedding I am making a wish tree. I bought manzanita branches and I am going to ask people to write us a wish for our life together.
