Has anyone else NOT found even one invite they like?
I HATE them all. I just have not found one that I would put my name on. (Can we say drama queen, sorry, it's the snow day ) But does anyone have any sites I can look at invites on? Thanks girls.

YES!!! I found a few I can tollerate, but none that I absolutely LOVE. I feel like I could make a better one (but I want raised lettering). Still searching for options

It's SO much harder than I thought it would be! Either they all look the same, or they are just downright pukey!

I did find ONE that I absolutely loved, thank goodness, but I agree that most are so not my style.
I did see a few Carlson Craft ones that were pretty unique. This was the website I saw them at:

I was having that problem too. I fell in love with a Pendragon invite, but it is TOOOO much money. They I ended up finding C'est Papier and Koza invites. They were more my style. I ended up ordering a Koza one. Keep looking, maybe something will pop up???

the ones i do like are two extremes - either very plain and affordable or very elegant and expen$ive.
i decided to make mine and am now having difficulty finding the materials that i want to work with. i also am vacillating between plain and fancy, ideally i want something simple but elegant.
what style are you looking for? traditional or contemporary?

I KIND of like these, but we're having a black tie wedding and I don't know if these are formal enough.

rachel - i think those are plenty formal....from what i can see, the picture is a little small so i'm not sure invites are difficult. i don't iknow how, but tom and i were looking through books, picked out a few we liked and then together eliminated all but one. it was the first choice for both of us....kind of scary how easy it was to pick them out! You'll find them!! not to worry!! good luck

I had the same problem. I wanted a nice simple, elegant invitation that said 'don't wear your khaki pants to our wedding !!!'. I found this in the c'est papier invitations. They are very formal, classy and elegant. Also, I found some of the encore(expressions of love) line to be very formal as well. Hope this helps you out !!

My name says it all. The only invites Im crazy about are the encore studio. I've seen some at a couple of showcases and they are absolutely delicious!! Im looking at this line right now. Hope this helps
Re: Has anyone else NOT found even one invite they like?
i couldn't find anything i liked, so i used Laura from LA Productions and she custom designed our invites. we got a ton of compliments on them, and her prices are definitely reasonable.

Thanks for the help girls. I just have the problem of...I look at something, really like it, look at it again, really cannot stand it! ARGH! I found these, but again, don't think they are formal enough. Hopefully it is not too big....
Re: Has anyone else NOT found even one invite they like?
I had the same problem, up until a few weeks ago when I discovered C'est Papier invites at Lion In The Sun in Huntington. They have a huge selection at Lion in the Sun, so I would recommend going there to take a look. You can also check out some of these websites online:

www.paperstyle.com
www.mygatsby.com
Good Luck!

I don't know if you live near Huntington, but have you tried Lion in the Sun? I hear that they are very flexible -- for instance, they'll ask less expensive designers to integrate design elements similar to those used by more expensive designers. I think they will also help you mix and match elements from different invitations. I also hear that the people there are very nice, professional, and efficient.

Thanks girls, I will check out Lion in the Sun. I didn't see anything on their site that wowed me, but I will have to go in and take a look. Thanks!
