1) Gone to a wedding alone? Yes. When my friend got married most of my friends didn't have boyfriends so we all decided to go solo. We all had a great time!
2) Gone to the movies alone? Nope, I'm not a huge movie fan, but I would go alone without a problem.
3) Eaten out in a sit-down restaurant (not a fast food) alone? Yup. I have Thursdays off from work and everyone I know is working, so if I'm running errands or shopping and decide to treat myself, I do.
4) Gone on a vacation alone? Yes I have. When i graduated college I went to Europe by myself. I did go on a tour though, does that still count?

Wedding: No
Movies: No. But I would if there was no one else around
Dinner- Yes. But only business trips, not at home
Vacation- No. But I do travel alot on my own for business.

None of the above.
But I know my dad eats alone sometimes and that breaks my heart too!!! If my step-mom doesnt want to eat somewhere and he wants it, he goes by himself. Just picturing that makes me cry.

I LIKE eatting out alone- it has always been a GREAT experience...esp in NYC!

1) Gone to a wedding alone? Yes, too many times to count. Some times its been great, some times its sucked .. I'd prefer to go with someone, though
2) Gone to the movies alone? Yes, a few times. Its really is the easiest thing to by yourself out of these four choices, IMO ..
3) Eaten out in a sit-down restaurant (not a fast food) alone? No. I'm simply not brave enough to do that for some reason. I think I'd be bored out of my mind sitting in a restaurant by myself trying to take my time, and I'd feel too self-concious overall. Any times I travelled for work, I ordered Room Service or takeout.
4) Gone on a vacation alone? Not intentionally. Mid-way into a week long vacation in Las Vegas with one of my ex's, we broke up. IT was bad enough that we couldn't stand the sight of each other, so we spend the rest of the vacation on our own. Surprisingly, I had a blast.
If you have to be solo (and newly single) somewhere in the world, Las Vegas is a great place to be!!![]()

1) Gone to a wedding alone?Sorta- I was invited without a date, but so was my co-wroker, so we went together & were seated with other coworkers.
2) Gone to the movies alone?yes- plan to do this more over the summer b/c I get out early on Fridays & work near a theatre. BTW - FH should be at the movies alone right now. ( day off- Van Helsing)

Yes, on a business trip & once at home when I really wanted diner french toast one morning.

No, the closest I came was extending a busines tip one day & roaming New Orleans for while.

I agree.
If I didn't have FH, I'd like to travel alone, but I always want to share everything with him & he loves to travel, so I probably wouldn' tdo that now.
I somtimes do toursity things in NY by myeself. My friend goes to museums by herself a lot. I used to like to go to the new york Botanical gardens alone when I lived in the Bronx.

I've done all but the vacation. Actually, I've been going to the movies alone a lot lately since FI is in MY and I'm still in San Diego. It's kinda nice cause I can go and see whatever I want. It's a nice way to unwind on a Friday afternoon (I get off work at 2:30).

See, I found going to a wedding alone, the best!! I didn't have to worry about who I was with and whether or not they were having a good time. I just danced the nite away!!

i have eaten alone plenty of times. i dont think its that bad its actually pretty fun because i find that waitresses or waiters are a lot more friendly. i have never gone to the movies alone but i think i wouldnt mind that either. i have gone to plenty of weddings alone as well but alot were for family so i knew alot of the people there .
