to a wedding where the bride walks down the aisle herself?

My parents are divorced and my dad and I were never close. I was going to have both parents walk me down the aisle, but the relationship between my parents and I has been strained lately and I am just exhausted. I would prefer to just not deal with it. Is walking alone something very uncommon?

there is nothing wrong w/ walking alone, in fact it makes a bold statement. very unique and independent. i love it.

I also contemplated doing this. I dont speak to my father. I opted to have my older brother to walk me down the aisle instead.

i say go for it...
