The ones that go around the city? My sisters think we should do that for my bach. party. Any thoughts? Keep in mind that we do not want a wild party, just a celebration. Thanks

Re: Has anyone ever been on a dinner cruise??
I've done the Lady Liberty Cruises that go around the Statue of Liberty and they are GREAT! They are a tad pricey but they're so much fun and you get amazing views!!!

I didnt get sea sick at all when i went and I can't even look down in a car or I get sick. It is a little expensive per person but we had a lot of fun. The last time I did it was probably 10 yrs ago though for my birthday.

We did and we had a great time- they have a couple that leave out of Freeport that are gambling, dancing & dinner cruises- those always looked fun

it does sound a little pricey, but you do get a 3/4 course meal and an open bar. I guess I am just worried that we will be with stuffy old people that will get mad if we are having a good time

I actually DO get seasick (and carsick and plane sick - you name it) and I was fine! I felt a little 'off' when we would be inside eating but I was still more than okay and really enjoyed it! Actually, you just gave me a potential idea for my own bachelorette party - thanks!

I went on one with some people from work, and it was really nice, went around the Hudson, very pretty at night, as long as it's a warm night.

I went on 1 and there were stuffy old people and a million teenagers---some sort of sweet 16 thing. Also, a lot of tourists.
I personally didn't like it, but JMO!

Thanks, those were some things I am worried about.
