MLP- There isn't really a cool time from all my research..we went April 7 and the weather was perfect..Around 80 everyday.

Zac- We stayed at the Allegro..we didn't want to worry about paying for anything and that was the best AI on the island..They had a 'munchie' bar and a Piano bar open till 2am...it was fun bc they did nightly things (tequilla night, karaoke, beer chugging competition, etc..) So you did have the option to 'party' a little.

Jennbaby - great point about the weather. It is only in the 70's there in March. Maybe I need to rethink this!

That's so awesome. We went to the casino there one night, but that was pretty dead, too. The problem really (not that it was a problem at all) was that we were there during their off season, so alot of the hotels were less crowded. But the Allegro looked really nice and we said if we ever went back we might stay there.

Try this:

'The average temperature ranges between 85 and 90 degrees (29-32 degrees celsius) from June to October, sometimes reaching the mid 90's (35 degrees celsius), especially in the late summer months. From November to May the average temperature is 80 to 84 degrees (27-29 degrees celsius). Water temperature in the summer is 82 to 84 degrees (28-29 degrees celsius) and in winter about 74 to 78 degrees (23-26 degrees celsius). A constant trade wind keeps the climate at a very comfortable level.

There is an annual rainfall of 21 inches on Grand Turk and South Caicos, but as you go further west the average rainfall could increase to 40 inches. In an average year the Turks and Caicos has 350 days of sunshine.'

So, if you are going in March, you shouldn't have a problem at all.

Edited to say: Oh yeah, and Hurricane season is June to October, so you are still fine in March.

Aruba

And thats it for the Caribean!

They were all nice, buy I am so bias to the Caribean!!!

I have never been to the Caribbean before. Matt and I are Vegas freaks! Other than Florida, we usually do quick local weekends like Montauk, Lake George and the Poconos. This March we are definately going to the Caribbean but next year I hope to go to Italy.

Friends of mine went to St. Lucia for their honey moon and they absolutely loved it! They are still raving about it a year and a half after their wedding...

My 2 cents..I suggest looking into Anguilla, which is a 20 minute ferry ride from St. Maarten. I have been to a couple islands and Anguilla is my 'hands down' favorite.
Turks & Caicos islands are beautiful. As with most Caribbean islands, there are several 'day trips' you cant take, but, like some of the other ladies said, there is little to no nightlife there.
If you want specific information, FM me. I would love to tell you what I thought was 'good/bad' about T & C and the Allegro(all inclusive). I can also provide with some information on Anguilla. Anguilla is very expensive, but, in my opinion, worth every penny.

Me and Fh went to Turks two years ago and loved it. we stayed at Allegro and it was awesome, there nightly entertainment was great. They put on a show every night and not some freaky tribal dancers -similar to off broadway variety type.
The water and weather was awesome. WE went in May.
Maybe sinc eyou are going in March look further south to get the warmer weather.
Weve been to Antiqua - great,
Dom. Rep. great and cheap
Barbardos great but didn't like our resort.
