... of Bayshore. I was there today and loved my sales person. She was very patient with me and my sisters, who are not easy to please. We had an appointment for me to look at wedding gowns but my sisters also ended up looking at bridesmaid dresses also and the sales lady was very good with all of us. I liked the dresses I tried on a lot and the dresses the girls tried on. Does anyone have feedback on this shop? I did a search but not much came up on it. One girl referenced that there was some negative reviews but I didn't see any. TIA!

I know many people that have used them and have had no problems. Of couse, anything is possible though. I was there and I think the saleswoman was Cynthia, she was great to work with.

I loved the people there! Very helpful!! Unfortunately it's a bit far for most of my BMs so we're not dealing with them for anything.

i used them, my friends have used them....they are awesome!
my dress was more money there than in some other shops but i liked the nice, new clean shop, etc....

I bought my gown from them. We did our BM dresses through Netbride.com instead...saved a lot of money.
My experience so far with Bridal Suite of Bayshore has been great. I have read a lot of negative reviews regarding the seamstress....I will experience my first fitting on Monday so personally I cannot comment on that just yet. Here's my story of why I love them... I fell in love with a particular dress online and called all of the Manufacturer vendors on LI, Queens, Brooklyn, NYC...with that in mind they all did not have the dress available for me to look at it or try it on. They all offered to order the dress and gave me a price. For the most part they were are about the same. I'd pretty much given up at that point. I went out to lunch with my Aunt at Milk & Sugar Cafe right down the road. After stuffing our faces I suggested we go for a walk down the street and see what shops were around. I just so happened to see the beautiful fall window display they had up. I went inside and immediately asked the girl at the desk and she said they do not carry Venus gowns. I decided to look at the BM gowns and started speaking with MaryEllen. I figured..what the heck and I'll ask her. She said they do not carry the gown but could get it and do a 'Deposit Transfer'. Which is I would leave a deposit of $500 they would order the gown in my size and color and when it came in..if I liked it..it's mine...if I didn't they would keep it as a sample. NOT ONE OTHER STORE OFFERED TO DO THIS...AFTER I EXPLAINED HOW MUCH I REALLY WANTED THIS GOWN.
To me...they made my dreams come true!

I'm using them and so far they have been great. I ordered my gown in July 05 for my July 06 wedding. It just came in and they let me try it on. I've also stopped in there a few times to show girlfriends my gown and they have been so accommodating!
