BJ's has custome cakes for really good prices. Has anyone had them? are they good? Are they stiff like a wedding cake or other bakery cake or are they more soft like homemade?

They're very nice, very fresh cakes. We've had them for several occasions.

The one I had reminded me of the birthday cakes they used to serve in McDonald's. Did you ever go to or have a party at McDonald's?

OMG I just had a childhood flashback to a McDonald's Cake!
Although I'm not sure I would say it tasted like a BJ's cake...I just remember the mickey D's cakes being really sugary!

Oh, I remember that we all loved them as kids! Besides, the one from BJ's just reminded me of it. (It was a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.) And they had little sugar McDonald's characters on them!

I don't think you need anything bigger than a quarter sheet for 10 people! I'm not sure I would even get that. You're going to end up with lots of cake left over!

The quarter sheet sasy 12-15 people, but that makes me nervous cause we might end up with about 14 people if the last minute people do come. But I think I'm going to go for that anyway. I'll just make the slices small, no biggie.

I recently went to a BBQ where there was a cake, 7-layer butter bars, chocolate chip and toffee cookies, and fruit and whipped cream. Maybe ask everyone to bring some dessert? Everyone loves dessert.

OMG!!! Someone must've had a sweet tooth! Did they have actual food at that BBQ or was it just desserts?

You must try the Turtle Cheesecake from there. It's huge and only $10! It's cheescake w/ oreo crust w/ oreo, chocolate chip and caramel topping.
