BJ's has custome cakes for really good prices. Has anyone had them? are they good? Are they stiff like a wedding cake or other bakery cake or are they more soft like homemade?

are you serving any other dessert?
I want to, but I'm not sure what yet. Any suggestions? I was thinking some watermelon, and we were thinking of getting ices or little ice cream cups
I recently went to a BBQ where there was a cake, 7-layer butter bars, chocolate chip and toffee cookies, and fruit and whipped cream. Maybe ask everyone to bring some dessert? Everyone loves dessert.
OMG!!! Someone must've had a sweet tooth! Did they have actual food at that BBQ or was it just desserts?
Well actually it was amazing food too! I was so stuffed. It was the best BBQ food I have ever had! There were shish kabobs with steak, chicken, shrimp, pineapple, and peppers...Macaroni salad, some great spinach bread and pepperoni bread...Vegetables and dip...I think there were about 10 of us and SO MUCH FOOD! The desserts were the highlight. And there were chocolate lollipops decorating the cake! And of course there were games and loot bags!

Well, the hostess did a great job and supplied the shishkabobs, but we all brought something else so it really wasn't bad. Just ask everyone to bring a little something, or at least beer.

I would get at least 2 desserts. Not everyone likes the same thing.
At Father's day we had an apple crumb cake, an ice cream cake, a chocolate mousse cake, a blueberry cheesecake & then I made cookies, because DH doens't eat any of the other stuff.
