Has anyone ever got a Speeding Ticket...I have a question(s)???

I was heading upstate a few weeks ago and on my way home I got pulled over by a state trooper on RT-17. I was doing 88 in a 65 .
I've never gotten a speeding ticket before so I was going to do the court appearance thing but the the Court place is 3 hours away . I tried calling to find out how much the ticket would be and how many points on my license but they said I have to just please guilty or not guilty then they will tell me what the fine and points are. The fine doesn't bother me that much but does anyone know how many points that is on your license??? It might be worth a 3 hour trip upstate Does anyone wanna go on a roadtrip

What town? I grew up that way.....I know some cops up there from Middletown all the way to Binghamton on Route 17. The fines/points vary depending on if the town is getting the fees or the state. It's a weird system up there. FM me if you want......
