Has anyone ever used or heard of The Pros for Photography? They also do DJ and video and are having a showcase tomorrow night in NYC and I don't know if it's a waste to go.
My step-sister used them for photo and Dj. The pics came out really beautiful..but the DJ was an 1 hour late for the wedding! So they were setting-up during the cocktail hour. It might be worth going, her pics were really nice.
I heard they are too comercialized and dont give brides the attention they need, especially photography

Do you know why they are so inexpensive for photography? I'm a little nervous about using them. Was your sister happy with the photographer she used?
I think they are so cheap because they have no real overhead. Also they don't spend anytime with you after the wedding. They just give you the pictures (I believe it was something like 100 8x10 and 100 5x7). So that cuts out time they need with you after.
She said she was happy with them and I have seen the pics and they were nice. She said she spoke to her photographer a couple of times on the phone before the wedding and he took all the pictures she wanted. I know she used them because she was on a tight budget but they did do a very nice job. Go to one of the shows and pick your photographer and then just keep in touch with them and make sure to have a list of every picture you absolutely want.

I believe they give you an album and all the pics, but you put it together yourself. Hope that helps!
