Has anyone ever heard of this
its a child who is used in the ceremony, could be either a boy or a girl, who carries the brides long veil or tain down the aisle so it doesn't drag. Have you heard of it?

i've definitely heard of it, but i haven't seen it done... although, i guess i haven't been to that many weddings now that i think about it.
heard of it... never seen it done. i think it's usually done when people have really, really long trains. but, if you want to do it, go for it!
I've heard of it, but I've only seen it done on tv. Definitely go for it if that's what you want.
The reason why I ask is because I'm having a very long cloak and my cousin has a little boy who will be 2 by that time. And I don't want him as the ring bearer, so I was thinking how cute to give him that job. I know she was hurt that I didn't invite him in my wedding party. Because when she was pregnant, I asked her if the baby was girl I wanted her to be my flower girl, and now shes kinda upset that I never ask her to have him as my RB. I just don't want one.
its cute.
I know star jones had like 4 to carry her 27ft train.
I have a cloak. i would just ask him to carry the Very end of it. so he would walk behind me. Again I'm only doing this because my cousin got upset with me because I didn't invite him as a member of my bridal party.
I have definitely heard of it. I am not sure if I remember seeing it in person. I wouldn't count on the kid to actually hold it up the whole time but I would still do it. I think that some brides would not want it because the kid could steal the spotlight.
