cruise to nowhere on the norwegian dawn in ny? it's called dinner and dancing? how does this work? do you pay for drinks w/ cash? is there anything else to do besides eating and dancing-like a show?? any info. on this would be appreciated!! is it worth it??tia!
eta: what time does it leave ny and arrive back the next day??????

i did - it was AWESOME!! totally worth it.
we actually talk about doing it again...
when you board the ship they give you a swipe card - it looks like a credit card - and it gets linked to your credit card. this is what you use to purchase ANYTHING on the ship. (you can pay the next day w/ cash if necessary - but the line was so long so i let it just bill to my cc)
when you board the ship you have to do this life boat drill and than we all did this bon voyage party on the top deck. THIS WAS MY FAVE PART. everyone was getting slammed - they bbq - there were a bunch of bachelorette and bachelor parties going on. people getting drunk in the hot tubs! it was just so much fun.
than we did dinner - honestly - i would skip it - not worth it at all. the food in the casino was just as good and we didnt need a reservation.
we hit the casino alot - there were 2 different clubs - there was a karoke thing - there was a lot to do. we were up all night.
my only advice - do not get dolled up. everyone ended the night in sneakers cause we were all getting tired of trying to balace in heels on a rocking boat. once we started drinking and dancing we didnt feel the boat move @ all.
