Allstar DJ??? They have really cheap lighting packages....they have a special this week... Names/mongram in lights & 12 uplights for only $475! That seems really cheap to me. I was just wondering if anyone has used them before. TIA girls!!

It seems way too good to be true. I asked if they had a showcase & he said they dont do showcases, they're not a big complany like TT & they keep costs down by not doing showcases & not giving kickbacks to the RHs.
What do u girls think??

Sorry I have never head of them before (but that doesn't mean a thing, I don't live on LI). That sounds like an amazing price. I would be a little leary being that they don't have a showcase of some type so you can see how they perform. But that doesn't mean that they aren't good. Maybe call and say you really don't feel comfortable booking with them being that you can't see how they work and if there is a way you can see their work before you book? If they say no, then I would have to say proceed at your own risk

Well they have a pretty good website & about 25 videos on youtube. I was j/w if anyone has used them b/c I need real-life reviews lol. I was only able to find a few reviews online, although they were all good. Just tryin to get some more feedback. Thanks!!

I saw their samples, it was very good.
I felt more comfortable with my DJ who was only a little bit more than Allstar.
Paul was very nice when I met with them. Just because they're not in LIW doesn't mean their bad, just do your research

Ask the DJ if you can see a sample of his work. he might have a party that they video taped. Or even ask him if he is doing a party somewhere that you can come see the set up and a how he is with the crowd and music. I booked with my cousins company and even with that I looked at a video tape that he brought over and he also had a script with him.

Yea I spoke with Paul on the phone & he was very nice & didn't charge more for my long reception (I need 6 1/2 hours of entertainment). Do u think u could FM me your DJs info?? TIA!! We r meetign with FM & TT next week. I should prob set up an appt. to meet Paul.

My Aunt used BPN for her wedding a year ago and they were amazing. Did anyone actually book with the Allstar DJ bc that is an insane price and deal. I am on a budget and need to find a good dj for a reasonable price. any ideas?

I´m not sure about them but you should look into Parties Alive. I believe they have similar packages to the one listed. Rich is really nice. You can say that Gemma sent you if you want.
