Re: Has anyone experienced???
it just so happens that my MOH and best friend since we were 5 got engaged like 5 months after me and I could not be happier ofr her! its great to have a best friend to plan this with togther. anywys her wedding is this nov and mine is next nov. it does not bther me one ounce that she got engaged after me and is getting married the year before me! Im actually excited about it bc now we are planning together! haha its strange how things happen but its really fun! im her MOH and shes my MOH and I would never be upset about her getting married befor eme...maybe thats just the type of person I am, not everyone is like that!
Well, I have been w. FH for 3 years. Throughout our relationship a few of our friends have gotten married. Although I was happy for them, I kinda felt like it was unfair that FH and I weren't on the same track. Out of all the my friends who already got married, I was prob. the only corny one who always wanted to get married. So I guess it did bother me b,c it would just make me pissed off that FH hadn't proposed yet. BUT.... I never acted like a scumbag to any one of my friends. In fact I made sure that I helped in whatever I could and made sure the bachelorette party was a lot of fun!

Re: Has anyone experienced???
I think most people have someone in their life like this. It's very frustrating.
There is a book called the Bridal Wave. It's about what to do and how to deal when all of your friends/family is getting engaged and married and you are not. I highly recommend this book. It is by the same co-author of 'Maybe He's Just Not That In To You.'
Anyway, I read it when all of my friends starting getting engaged and it helped.
I will be the first to admit when some of my close friends got engaged before me, but I think it's natural. What is not natural is acting like a b 1 t c h about it to your dear friends.
If they really were your friends they would keep their jealousy home and be happy for you!

I had a friend who was acting weird and jealous when I was just dating FH! I can't even imagine how she would be now that I'm engaged. I dropped her a year after dating FH because she was such a douche

Yes and actually it was my sister. She has been with her bf for 6 more months and not engaged yet. Honestly though, I ignored it and she has seemed to be over it and is talking to me about my wedding every day so I think it's natural and would just ignore it
