Like Air Jamaica or you know like companies that arent as big as other companies? I dont know if I should be nervous about something like this?
R u scared to Fly on Air J because you think that something is wrong with the airline as it is owned by the island?
my FH and i like to fly on US based airlines just because he is an air traffic controller and sees/hears what goes on.
No - I just never flew anything really but southwest or jet blue (I dont go away much, only started my first flight to Ireland in 2006)... and Air jamaica is so much cheaper- so I was trying to get a feel if someone knew like did it really matter to fly like the usual flights and pay more or pay less that it doesnt matter?
I've flown Air Jamaica before and it was perfectly fine.
I have flown on Air J hundreds of times!!! They are cheaper now because they are being competitive! There is nothing wrong with Air J at all. As a matter of fact, I would say that I prefer them a whole lot better than American Airlines and a few other american based airlines!

Jet Blue has pretty cheap flights there too.

I wouldn't worry. Most if not all small airlines are owned by larger airlines. (Ex. Hawaii airlines are owned by Delta).
