I am reallly bored today and I was gonna take a trip over to some stores. Fontana's is right next door and I kinda wanna make an appt go in and try stuff on since it won't be as crowded. Is that weird?

Re: Has anyone gone dress shopping alone?
i went to all the salons alone (except for my first one), its not as much fun by yourself thats for sure, but at least people are more willing to come with you when youve narrowed it down

Re: Has anyone gone dress shopping alone?
ive went to a bunch alone. i think it depends how you are. personally, i think i do my best shopping alone -- like when im at the mall buying clothes or gifts. so it wasnt that much different.
the other positive part is that they dont pressure you as much to make a decision right then and there...cuz you can say, oooh i want my mom to come. they cant argue with that too much.
only bad part is that its fun to do it with people around and see their reactions too.
so if you have the day off - why not!

As long as you dont feel uncomfortable being in your underwear in front of random people...because your friends/family wont be there to help you, so you have no choice but to accept help from the sales ladies.

Wow any place that pressures you to make a decision then and there should NOT even be doing business. It is their job to tell you that you should shop around and make sure this is 'the dress.'

i never went alone, but i would have. i wouldn't make the decision without opinions of course, but i don't see the harm in going and trying on some stuff...at least to get an idea of what you want.

Re: Has anyone gone dress shopping alone?
i haven't gone to look at dresses yet by myself, but 3/4 photographer appointments i went to were by myself..
i like doing things by myself though so that may be why things like that don't bother me
