Has anyone gone to Mohonk Mountain in the Winter??

I was just curious what everyone though of it and what was recommended.

We've been going since I was young (all seasons) although usually on Mother's Day & in the fall. As kids we went in the winter & it was wonderful...they now have that huge ice skating rink a bit up from the lake; there's nothing like afternoon tea/coffee and there's cross country skiing on the grounds & sleigh riding...its great. fm me if you have any q's (although my computer is down & I'm not on very much until Wed)....

We went there last year around Valentine's Day. Unfortunately it was to warm for skiing/sleigh riding and too icy to really hike or walk around. The food was very good. I thought the rooms were okay. The ice skating rink was nice with a huge fireplace. I would say we had an 'average' time- JMO.

I live right by it and its popular all year long

I would love to drive over and spend a weekend but we are saving for a house.

Ice skating followed by hot cocoa sounds just about right !
