FMIL is asking about having it there....the other places she says the prices are out of control....just wondering if anyone got prices for one at Fridays, or even Applebees...looks like we are going to have to settle for one of them....

Why not just have it at home and have it catered? That's what we are doing. I felt bad that my parents are paying for the entire wedding (FH family doesn't live in the country so they are not able to come) PLUS another wedding close to FH family. We had to just cut a few things that didn't seem necessary - like rehearsal dinner. Having at my mom's house is just fine with me. Not sure how much catering is going to cost though

FH parents are paying for the rehearsal dinner...its their thing..they are from NJ, and the wedding is in LI, so having it catered at a house is not do-able...my parents are definitely not giving up their house of chaos for the rehearsal dinner...my parents are paying for everything, so to have them host the rehearsal dinner is basically their contribution...

we had ours at bertucci's for a lwo key affair where everyone could relax and have fun....you might also want to try macaroni grill....

Thanks! Our rehearsal is in Sag Harbor tho..and FH parents want dinner ast like 7Pm or something like that....so going to Riverhead is as far as we can handle it...altho I rather stay closer to Sag Harbor...

i've been to a baby shower at fridays, and it was nice! i don't know about the prices though. fridays had a seperate room.
