I had 11! But this is VERY common in my fi's family, since I was expecting no shows I only paid for my minimum (even though my final yes number was slightly higher) it worked out so that I didn't lose money, but I'm still upset over it.

i thought we would have some - considering there were quite a few no shows at my shower but everyone came to the wedding --i was surprised...

I invited a former co-worker and her BF, which I have never meet and she did not show up. She never even called to apologize (no she is not sick, nothing happened to her). I think this is so rude. I am against contacting her since well it wasn't just a party she did not show up to, but my wedding, I think that makes it very personal. I can't believe the money my parents took a loss on her, what a shame. I feel so bad about it, but I guess there is nothing I can do.

She emailed me the Friday right before the wedding (wedding was on a Sunday) asking if she could bring a friend instead of BF, I of course was not at work, she knew that from my instant reply and my voice mail, but she never bothered to attempt to call. I am so grossed out. I guess these things happen to everyone.

one, but after the wedding I got a voicemail that he was called out of town for business.

yes i had 43 people rsvp yes and not show up - i was really ticked about it - 6 of them were my godchildren and their parents

43?!?!?!?!?! That's awful!


My sister had a few no shows, mostly from work, and she also had a few people show up who hadn't responded and people brougth dates who either weren;t invited with dates or didn't respond w/ a date
