Has anyone had a miscalculation between your last AF & ultrasound like I did?

I thought I was 9 weeks 5 days and when I went for the U/S the baby was measuring 7 weeks 2/3 days (can't remember)....

I'm just trying to put myself more at ease knowing this might be common....Thanks

It is common. They have changed my due date 3 times! In the beginning I think its harder to calculate. Once the baby begins growing they measure its length (crown to rump) and give you a better estimate of how far along you are.
One of my co-workers was very upset by this... She calculated that she was about 11 weeks, went to the doctor who told her she was only 7!!!!

really??? Ali, you just made me feel SO much better.....I pray every night that it's just a miscalculation on my part and that my baby is fine.

I had a 10 day difference with my initial us. I wouldn't really worry about it. My Dr wouldn't change the due date either (although he did keep it in mind when my EDD came and went) unless it was more than 14 days difference. Also, remember that it depends on the the Tech who did it...two people will produce different (with-in reason) measurements. Even the same person can make a change. It's an estimate and believe me, the baby will come, when he/she's ready anyways!
