Has anyone had to buy new shoes after they altered your dress?
I already had my dress altered I'm going to try to find shoes that are the same height but it took me so long to find these ones that I dont even know, do you think like 1/4 inch diff will be a big deal?

I got new shoes after my alterations were done. The shoes I got were higher than the ones I'd been wearing for my alterations, but I was happy with that because I didn't want to trip on my dress and kept asking for it to be shorter anyway. Worked out fine (well, except for the fact that the shoes cut off the circulation in my feet so badly that I couldn't feel two of my toes until the third day of our HM).... but they looked gorgeous!!!
Adrenaline on our wedding day made me not feel one ounce of pain, too.

ok my dress came in short i had to buy new shoes (a lower heel) & when those lower heels werent low enough i made them order me a whole new dress cause the manufacturer cut it short. So for me it was imoprtant that my dress was to teh floor & not show my shoe unless i lifted my dress! I say get a lower heel. How high is teh original shoe u purchased?

I ended up changing shoes and there was about 1/4 of an inch difference with the ones I wore versus the ones I sized with. It didn't matter at all and I loved the ones I changed to a lot more so it all worked out in the end.

I had to do the same thing. Except once I got the lower heel, the dress was long enough.
