Has anyone had trouble getting in touch with..

Jennifer at fairytale makeovers?? I've left her like 2 messages and she has not responded, not even to say that she's booked or anything...

She is going through some stuff with her salon that she used to work for....be persistent & try calling later in the day.

I've heard people say this about her before.
Try to be patient. I didn't use her, but from the pics I've seen on here...She's worth the wait.

I tried contacting her twice by e-mail (the last time was about 3 weeks ago) and she never resonded. I know she does good work but I got annoyed and ended up booking a trial with someone else. If I like them, I'm going to go with the other person. Good luck - I hope you hear from her - just don't wait too long.

I am a very prompt person and personally this would irritate me. I'd start to look for someone else. What if she does this the week of the wedding to you - you'd have a heartattack!

This is her 2nd job, she is a married woman and does have a life. She is a responsible person and she will not leave you high and dry on your day. If you are waiting to get a trial she will get back to you. She did my makeup for my wedding and she was lovely, contacting me the week of to confirm directions etc. Be patient, but I do agree if your date is coming up, do look in to others until she responds.

One of my Bm's called her the other day and got in touch with her. I believe she told her she will be away next week and that is why she had to wait till the 11th for her trial. Maybe try a thursday to call her. Like everyone said, she is hard to get in touch with but is worth it!!!

Yes it is getting irritating....Unfortunately JN is booked on my day

i know she is hard to reach but once you talk to her she is the sweetest thing and she will ease your fears...

I had my trial with her on the 18th & she mentioned something about going away. Try o be patient & do a search in makeup artisits, there are quite a few of them. Also, post the question on the newlyweds board & see if those girls will help you out.

I gave up, I have been trying to get in contact with her since last March. I am using Denise Venti for hair who is AMAZING and have a trial with Danielle Renee in 2 weeks. Danielle is actually having a bridal makeup get together on 9/13 and 9/14 and is doing trials for $35. FM me if you'd like more info!

I left 3 messages last week and she finally called me on Monday and I booked a trial. She said she only returns calls on Monday and Tuesday. She is going away next week starting Tuesday for a week. She did say she is doing trials for weddings in 2004, but only January, February and the beginning of March. She mentioned something about her family.
I'd keep trying but know you probably wont get a call until after her trip. Good luck.

She is WELL WORTH the wait. She does have a regular job, plus this on the side, and she has a husband and a young child...

i just got an email from her - so all hope is not lost!!!
and from what i've heard - she's incredible. she's lucky she has such a great reputation....becuase i don't think i would have waited this logn for anyone else! i do understand that she has othe things going on though...

Sorry, me again. I am flipping out now -- are you sure she said she is going away next wk??? She booked me for Sept. 3 next wk and my wedding is early Oct. and I have other stuff this month and we have had to cancel my second hair trial twice already, one due to her family issue which I completely understand and the second was the day of the blackout so I hope she is not going away now.
