that bed bath and beyond is going out of business. one of my bms told me that. fh and i were gonna go register yesterday but being we heard that we didn't go. where else is a good store to register from.

I agree that she might be confussed with Linens and Things. I have not heard anything about BBB yet
i seriously doubt it! i was offered a job there as a merchandiser and so i had researched their history, sales figures, etc., and they were doing awesome!!!!!! it would take more than a few months of slowing sales to make them close.... they may be slowing down on opening new stores though

Not even close. They reported below average 3rd quarter earnings which caused their stock to drop 8%. They are going thru a stock buyback, which is reducing the number of available shares thus increasing the profitability of each share. Couple that with a decline in the home furnishings market and they are skidding thru a rough patch right now. They are projected to post 15% annual profits over the next 5 years.

i don't think they will go out of business they are a great store and get their sells
i have friends who work at their bbb corporate office and they haven't heard anything like that
