Re: Has anyone heard anything about or used 'MagnetQueen' for save the dates?
I had gotten my std magnets from magnet queen. You can get a sample sent to you so you can touch/feel the actual sample. I LOVE them. I work at a print shop and couldn't get anything of this quality made with out spending tons of money. Its thick, glossy and VERY high quality.

I used them! I haven't gotten mine yet (The one negative is that for the discount to apply you need to wait a month for them - which sux for me since I ordered them so late and my wedding will be 5 months away by the time I send out STDs)
I have the samples from the wedding of the year and they are great quality.
My proof is in my 'Things I've Actually Bought' Album

I used them. They are great and I took advantage of that sale for 50 % off which was even better. The quality is the best I have seen.

Oh yea deff. leave time for ordering them. The discounted magnets only get sent out one or twice a month so it may take up to a month to get them.

I used them and they were great! Everyone has been raving about how cute our save the date magnets are! It does take a month to ship if you use the discount but it is sooo worth it. They are good quality and they even threw in an extra magnet with one of the pictures I sent (we had 6 total on the magnet) just for us! So nice. The proof they sent me is in my album under 'Misc.'

Hey there. Just wanted to let you know that I ordered my STD's off Vistaprint yesterday and there was a sale going on. I think it was about 100 magnets for 26.00 (I bought 50 magnets for 14.99). Plus you can get a number of items for free with your purchase (rubber stamp, 140 address labels etc). Just wanted to give you another option....

Yes, but Vistaprint can't even come close to the quality that MagnetQueen provides. The Vistaprint magnets are really flimsy. I'm sure that they will still be nice, but there's really no comaparison with MagnetQueen.

Vista print is good for what you are paying for and there is nothing wrong with that.
Honstly my print shop goes through vista print and we double the price for customers and no one complains. Most people are going to throw out your magnets once the invitations are sent out so it really depends on what you want to spend on your std's. I wanted good magnets because it reflected on me as a graphic designer and I wanted a company i know and trust with my artwork and Magnet Queen worked out for me.
So go to what you want to spend vs. quality!

I get emails all the time for '50% off' and I might what to use her for the save the dates. I was just curious if anyone had any feedback. Thanks
Me too! I swear I get 2 or 3 emails a day from them! Almost makes me not want to use them for bad marketing practices. (Spamming is one thing, Flooding is another...)

Thats what I heard also, but I really didn't need too many so I didn't want to spend the extra bucks. Plus, like others mentioned, they get thrown out anyway. But I really hope the VistaPrint ones don't come in like crap. I just want them to stick to the fridge for about a year!
