If you do a search for it on here, you will find some threads about it. I signed up for it but I don't know if I am going to use that one or a diff HM registry.

I like that there are no fees but I don't like that the person that 'buys' an item prints out a certificate but then still hands you the cash or check. It's basically just giving you cash & saying, 'I'd like you to use it towards...' With the other sites, there's usually a 7% fee but the transaction is done through the computer and you get the total amount of all gifts bought from the website in 1 check...not from the individual people. Sorry if this doesn't make sense...hard to explain lol.

Re: Has anyone heard of Honeyfund.com?

With travelersjoy, I set up the entire thing by choosing items and adventures we wanted to take while on our honeymoon, including pictures, and creating prices per 'item' just like you'd see on a regular registry. When friends and family went to our page, they saw details about our honeymoon and all the items they could buy for us.

It was all estimates, since between not being sure exactly how much stuff would cost, and the dollar to euro exchange, I was just making prices up, but it didn't really matter because we got a check in the end for as much as the total of all our friends purchases.

Travelersjoy took 7% (so 7 cents per dollar our friends gave us) as their fee, but it made setting up the site so extremely simple, and lots of friends and family loved giving us those gifts because it made them a part of our HM. I loved creating our itinerary in advance. So even though we didn't actually travel to the tippy top of the Eiffel tower, the $30 someone gave us for that item was still useful to help pay for our HM.

We ended up with a check for $1895 when all was said and done.

I'd be happy to send you the link to ours if you want - just FM me.
