Hi everyone, I've been doing some photographer shopping and really loved the work that HOT has done. They're charging quite a bit though - for an engagement, reception and one other event they're charging close to 8,500. Is this the average? Also, has anyone heard of BNB Photography? New to LIWeddings so I'd appreciate all the advice I can get. Thanks!

i am confused...you said for engagement, reception and 1 other event, what is the 1 other event? but yes most photographers are less than $8,500 and sorry i never heard of HOT so dont even know about their work...does that price include the albums?

It's an indian wedding so the other event is a music/dance party. The price includes two albums for the bride/groom, and two parent albums. It also includes videography. HOT - House of Talent www.houseoftalentstudio.com does a really good job but BNB met our price and I'm sure will still go down further. But then I'm thinking photography is the most important part of this whole process.

Never heard of them, but it does seem like a good price for 2 events and albums. IMHO I think pfotography isone of the most important things, it is the one thing you take away from the wedding. There is an Indian/Desi wedding thread. You should check it out, it might have some info on pfotographers that have a dealfor both events. Good Luck
