Has anyone heard of the Georgette Klinger Spa in NY

I received a gift card from there but never heard of them....any feedback would be very much appreciated!

yes, they have one in manhasset now too --in the americana shopping center on northern blvd...

i just received a g/c there too --i have heard mixed reviews --i think they cater to a slightly older clientele...

I have never been there, but they are supposed to be really good. There ia also one on the Mircale Mile in Manhasett.

I think you can use the g/c in anyone of there locations throughout the states.....I shoud find out which one is the best....

I don't know about the one here but when I was living in Washington DC they had a couple there. They do seem to cater to the older crowd, but the one in DC had a good reputation.

I got a gift card from my boss last year for a half day of beauty at the one on Madison Ave., which I only used in December. I was very disappointed, but I would never tell him. I have been to many different spas and it was probably the worst.

The massage was good, but they didn't give me a locker, dressing gown or slippers to use for the duration of my visit, so I had to lug everthing around with me, coat, boots, bags. I felt they were very badly organized. The lady who did my facial kept pushing product as did the lady who calculated my bill. And then, the lady who did my manicure told me not to use the nice dark red color I had picked and made me use a very pale pink that looked like nothing!!!

Sorry for the rant, but I believe you should get what you pay for, even if it was a gift. My favorite is Nordstroms with Elizabeth Arden Red Door a close second.

I noticed that Georgette Klinger opened in the Americana (miracle mile). When I lived in DC Georgette Klinger was across the street. It was always filled with older women. I never went there but it was always packed.

I have never been there but I have heard good things. I used to go to the Miracle Mile when it was called The Greenhouse Spa.

I have been to the one in manhasset three times. Two massages and a facial. I thought the spa was very nice. I didnt notice an older clientele and they treated me very nice. They gave me a dressing room with a robe and slippers. The woman who did my facial did try and push a few products but she also charged me for a teen facial instead of a regular facial to save me money which i thought was very nice! I did buy the cleanser and must say I LOVE it! I think it was worth the money! (and I am very picky cause i have extremely sensitive skin) So dont worry about the spa they are great and I would recommend to anyone.

Well ladies - thanks for the valuable information. The truth of the matter is that my FH got it for me for my birthday and even though it was very nice of him to do and I was happy-- I wish he asked some of my friends for advice considering I do regulrly go for facials, massages, etc. But I was very impressed he did it on his own and of cousre got me the best package! So when I researched online reviews I heard the same things all of you are tellig me about the one on Madison Avenue.....luckily I can go to which ever one I want to go to so I will take the drive to Manhasset and go there instead of Madison Avenue The funy thing aout it is that here is another spa at the opposite street of this one on Madison Aenue that I've been to and was happy with..... Oh well, it's the thought that counts and even though I didn't get tickets to the Yankee game opening day (LOL ) I am VERY HAPPY he tried!!! P.S. he did do a great job all in all!

I've only been to the one in Manhasset but I
absolutely loved it. They give you a changing room with a robe and slippers. I bought their
cleanser and moisturizer when I had my facial done and now that's all I will use.

This spa has been around since the dawn of time in Manhattan and is well known amongst hardcore old-time spa goers - not people like me

I went to the one in Manhasset for a facial and massage, I thought they were really good. The only thing was they did push their products a little. Overall I would recommend them.
