we went to a b&b 20 minutes outside of cooperstown. the b&b was beautiful. i have to post pics tomorrow. we went to the baseball hall of fame, apple picking, and romantic dinner at a posh restuarant in the area. we had so much fun. mostly because it was very relaxing. the highlight of the day was a rainbow....

wouldn't be nice if life was that simple?

actually no one on the boards even noticed it was my 1yr anniversary. it's funny how i congratulate others, yet i feel so un-noticed sometimes

i'm sorry you feel unnoticed!!!
if i had known i would have wished you a happy first year anniversary!!!

that's why you have to do what i do when my birthday is coming up....drop subtle hints like
'Hey, you know what next week is?'
'What?'
'Three weeka nd 2 days to my birthday.' (or substitute any number of days and weeks)
It usually works pretty well.

By the way, my actual birthday is 1 month and 13 days from tomorrow

i did. i made apost which stated that this up coming wekend was my 1st anniversary. but hardly anyone said anything.

the worst part, dh and i decided not to get gifts cause $$ is tigh. so of course we exchange cards right? well, i had mine for him. i got 'NADA'

one post is not enough - they get lost on here....you have to make mention of it every time you post!!! drill it into people's skulls!!! make them remember!!!
even if it's not relevant - just say it.....

ex:
Post question: 'Who did you use for photography?'
Your response: 'We used XYZ Company for out pictures for our 9/17/02 wedding. Hey, I JUST realized...our ONE YEAR anniversary is coming up in 3 (insert proper amount )days!!'

The people on here get a little wrapped up in other things.....sometimes, you have to hit them over the head with the information!!!

hmmmm, now you have me thinking......another source of income WOULD help pay for the wedding in April of 2004....and maybe even a house to move right into......
