Has anyone one been to an event at Venetian Yacht Club?
Since it became Venetian Yacht Club? We have booked it for our wedding and reception.
We just loved the place when we walked in the door and everything fell into place.
I keep trying to find a post for anyone who has actually been to an event there since I became VYC which I know happened recently...
Curious to hear about others experiences

JanuaryBride06 had her wedding there this past January. She used to have a review up, but I don't see it now. She has pics up in her community album.

Thanks for posting that! I HAVE to find her!! Is she still on here? She got married where we are getting married and had her honeymoon where we got engaged last month!!!

I don't know if she's still on the boards, but you might want to try FMing her. I don't understand why I can't find her review. She said that the Venetian was wonderful.

Hi, girls.
I had my review taken down; the reason why I did had to do with some trouble that I was having with a vendor post wedding (NOT VYC so don't worry!) and because I found out that some thing happened with another vendor that I wasn't pleased about. I felt like my review would be misleading and I'm still very tempted to bash one vendor but to keep myself from doing that, I just had it removed. I know that I could have rewritten, but one vendor is an LIW vendor and the temptation to freak out through my review is still great. Hope that makes sense.
For the record - I had a fantastic wedding at VYC and Daisy was a doll!

We went to a Captain's Dinner there last summer & the food was amazing! The renovations weren't done then but now are amazing! The school that I work in is using the upstairs room for our end of the year party - I will def be posting a review in June. The place looks spectactular

I know someone who had there Holiday party at The VYC and all good things. They were very pleased.
PS I went yesterday the renovations are coming out amazing!!!

Did you see the new moldings down stairs - unbelievable! The entrance is breath taking with the chandelier (sp?) & fire place!

We stopped by last weekend with FMIL & FSIL.... It is no exciting!!! I know it will be prefect for our wedding! I'm so excited every time I go there!!
