Has anyone ordered their dress from the internet?

If so,

did you try on dresses at a bridal suite first to get your style preference?

The dresses I have seen online are a lot less expensive than those at the bridal suites I've been to. And, equally as beautiful. Just thinking about ordering online and finding a good seemstress. Please let me know if you would do this or have done this, are going to do this, etc?

originally i was going to do that...look at bridal stores and then buy online but unless you can find a reasonable and talented seamstress, sometime the savings you're getting off line is eaten up by going to a private seamstress.

i ordered mine online - i never tried it on - and had my seamstress filomenia route 112 coram do the hemming
came out fine

I ordered mine through NetBride in August after trying it on several times at RKBridal. I saved a lot of $$, and my dress was mailed to me in perfect condition last week - a month before they said I would get it!
