Fh and I already live together and don't need a lot of household items and we registered at BBB for those things that we do actually need.
We would like a scanner and DVD player among other things and were trying to come up with a good place to register for them.
Has anyone had any experience with registering or buying from a registry at either Sears or on amazon.com? What do you recommend?
We have to decide soon because our wedding is in 4 1/2 months. TIA!!!!

i think we are going to do BBB for household stuff and Amazon for electronics.

That's what I figured, but I won't register at Macys because I've had bad experiences trying to BUY things off of people's registries there.
I've never dealt with Sears and Amazon, so that's where you girls come in!

My sister registered at Amazon.com and she loved it. They have a lot of different items on there - I know she registered for tivo on that site. She had a very good experience and it is easy for people to order on line. I say go for it!

I registered there for a few things for my shower and didnt have a problem with them. I've order online for them a ton of times - actually used them for a lot of my Xmas shopping this year. They are very good. And you can return things to the store, you dont have to shop them back. Plus if you get on their mailing list or open an acct with them they send you 10% off coupons !

My FI and I are in the same situation. We've been living together for over 7 years, so there are very few household items we don't already have. I think we are probably going to register at BBB and Amazon.

Forgot to say that Ive bought a TON of things from Sears online - patio sets, DVD player, hedge trimmer LOL and never had a problem with them.
