I am probably the most undomestic person that you girls will ever come into contact with... I am going to begin registering this weekend & will probably have tons of home product- related questions.
Has anyone registed at Target? Any rants/ raves? I was going to do BB&B and Macys but I think i'd like to consider Target.

We registered at Target. The return policy seems to be different at each location (from what I heard). When we tried to return items, we were given a gift card, even if we had the reciept. We didn't mind because we do like a lot of things there. BUT, I have heard some rants about Target.........just depends I guess

I was going to register at Target but heard bad things about it from friends. Their return policy is pretty horrible and they discontinue items often. I had a problem buying from a registry there once too. It was an OOT wedding and they don't carry the same merchandise in every store. There was nothing on her registry at my target except a spoon!
I did most of my registry at BB&B. Their prices are decent and they have everything. They also have a very lax return policy.

I registered at target and only got three things from that registry. Most people got my stuff from Crate and Barrel.

I registered at target for a few things. Most of the things have been bought off my Macys registry! I havent had any problems with Target, though I havent tried to return anything!

I am registered at Target and thus far most people have been buying off of my Macys registry.
ETA: I did return stuff after my engagement party. The things I had a receipt for were fine. The ones I did not have receipt for they had a stupid policy. I had to replace them with another item that day from the same department and it had to come to the same price (or more) or I would lose the money, which doesn't seem right - why should I lose the money because I can not find something that day.

I love target! I registered there and hopefully will get most of my stuff there. I don't mind if I get gift cards back from returns.

We're thinking of registering there along with Fortunoff and Pottery Barn. I'm a little hesitant b/c my friend registered there for her wedding and a lot of her list was discontinued. SHe registered before the holidays though and her shower was this month. We're going to register now and my shower is end of August so I'm hoping we wouldn't have a problem.

Yes and it was the most deplorable experience of all of our registry's . . . I wrote them a complaint letter.

hmm.. thanks everyone. I guess I might not register at target but get the things that I like from there myself. I love their everyday plates as well as glasses and bath towels.
