Has anyone 'registered' for their HM?

I'm working w/ a travel agent and we want to go to Sanals in St. Lucia. I was thinking of registering for it, but I wanted to know first if anyone else has done this and what they thought? TIA

Also, please tell me if the website took a percentage of your guests gift! Thanks!

We live together and have everything we could possibly need (until we buy a house that we have to furnish) so I am definitely going to do this. I think it is such a great idea!

Us too!!! But we also have 3 regular registries (bb&b, fortunoff...) for people who would rather get us a more traditional gift.

I believe thebigday.com takes about 8%? It's just like being taxed on a regular gift.

We did our HM registry through Liberty Travel. We booked our HM through them and they gave us a free HM registry. They give you a card with the registry #. Guests can call the # up and speak to our travel agent, who will then issue a gift certificate for us to use towards our HM. So far a few of my family members have used this registry to get me b'day presents.

We had planned on registering for the HM, but once we found out that it's really gift certificates given to you, it just didn't sound good for us.
