i did! It was a good time.
I believe we had to be there by 7:30 - the people we were with wanted to be in the front row, so she wanted to be the first on line and went at 6:30.
My sister and I went in a little later 'cause we didn't care where we sat. (there's only 150 people there anyway!)
It actually turned out that we had closer seats than the people on the front of the line - people were filed into the back rows first - they filled the place back to front.
eta: I think if you're not there by 7:30, they open the seats for standbys. A line of standbys forms every morning, especially if there's a big guest on. They kept us waiting in a hall until about 8am, then let us take seats. Gelman prepped the audience for about 10 minutes, then we had to stay seated until the show ended (no bathroom breaks allowed!) Gelman tells the audience when to clap, when to stand, sit, etc. He's totally in control at all times.
