Has anyone seen the Notebook?

If you haven't seen it, please turn away, I don't want to ruin it for you, and you should watch it.

I absolutely loved it! I thought it was such a sweet movie, and love the LOVE in that movie. Tooo many 'awwwws' out of me, not to mention the floodworks.

What did you guys think?

OMG, the flood of tears! I went with my friend 2 weeks ago. She got married this past friday and I'm getting married in 6 months. While the boys were at the bachelor party we went to the movies. We were SOBBING the entire time. Soooo sad, but such a good movie. IMO, better than the book.

You want to hear something funny? My FH is away for his bachelor party weekend, too, and I saw it tonight with a friend of mine. We were both in tears!

It was great to see it with this particular friend because we were both getting ready to be married and share our lives with our loves ... sorry if I'm being sappy, it was just a really appropirate flick for us

I dragged Fi to see it last night...the theatre was packed with mostly girls, (and their men who were obviously dragged there as well) and all you heard were the sobs, FI was hysterically laughing by the end, b/c it was so pathetic to hear all these girls crying (including myself) I actually read the book years ago, and it is my favorite book of all time (aside from Cather in the Rye, but diff't genre). I highly recommend reading the book even if you saw the movie, it's just so great!!!

I made a bunch of my friends read it before they saw the movie and they loved it! I also recommend his most recent book which is The Wedding (the sequel to The Notebook actually) Not nearly as good (Notebook is my absolute favorite of his) All of his books are great though!! He's my favorite author

It was the best movie I ever saw! I also dragged my FH and he was one of the only guys in the theatre also. But he thought it was good. I thought it was the best!!!!! The greatest love story. Go see it if you haven't yet.

You'd all be surprised, but the theatre I went to yesterday had guys wiping their eyes as they walked out. The funny part? Some tried to play it off as if they had something in their eye..

Now I want to read the book!!!
The movie was such a sweet & sad movie. Makes you think about your relationships. That's the type of love we all should have. I can't wait to see FH... going to hug him & kiss him, a la Elmira...
