We are thinking about using them - although they are a great cover band but I am worried about the older folks

I haven't seen them at a wedding, but I remember when they used to play at SJU on Fridays and they were good.

The are still around and VERY Good but not sure if they are good enough my wedding . .definitely if I was 22 but not sure about now

I LOVE THE TOUCH my friend is friends with the singers sister. They are awesome. My friends are in their 30's and told me that if they knew about them when they got married they would have used them for their wedding.

My best friend used them and they WERE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't stress that enough.
We looked at them but thay weren't right for our hall.
OLder folks were definitely up and moving.

You're welcome. Go hear them somewhere, see if you still ove them. They actually don't do as many clubs as they used to. They do more weddings than anything.

Friends of mine used them as well and they were amazing. I would also add that these friends had the best of everything and money was no object. They went to hear the Touch on one of their first dates and had to have them for their wedding. They were fantastic - you have nothing to worry about!

Oh my god, the touch ???? they were my most favorite band in college !!!! Is Jeff still the lead singer ?????? I think that was his name....IF THIS IS THE BAND I AM THINKING OF BOOK THEM BOOK THEM BOOK THEM :)

Actually, they play a lot of clubs. They play more of the 'larger' clubs like The Crazy Donkey, Nutty Irishman, Mulcahy's, even places in Boston in addition to the weddings and private parties.
If you go to the OmniPop website, you can get to The Touch's website and you can hear clips I believe.
(My husband is in an OmniPop band as well so I know a lot of the various bands schedules.)

My sis works in the wedding industry and sees the Touch at weddings all the time. They are her absolute favorite wedding band!

Ohmigod! I used to love them - we always used to see them at Mulcahy's...any idea what they charge for a wedding?/ Are they off the radar??

I used to see them at the Dublin alot. My friend also hired them for a party. They're good. Ask them for a demo tape or ask if you can see them play at a function.
