Has anyone seen these bridesmaid dresses in person?

Has anyone seen these bridesmaid dresses in person?

I can't find a store nearby that has them in stock right now. I can order online or have the store do it for me. Before I do that, I'd like to know if anyone has seen them in person. The color is called Meadow Green but is it more sagey or olivey? I cannot tell from the pics.

Ok, now I'm getting mad. Yesterday they had the strapless and the dress with straps. Today they only have the strapless!!!

I've never seen them in person, but from the pics I really like the one with straps, and the strapless... not so much. I would NOT order this dress without seeing it in person and having some or all of your BMs try it on. Who knows what the color / quality / fabric is like? There are too many things that could go wrong. This isn't like taking a chance on a cute pair of shoes from Zappos.com or something, it's too important to risk.

No, but they are so pretty. I think my problem with these particular brands - like J.Crew, etc. are that they only go to 18 and a few of my girls are plus sized. Very pretty though!

Agreed!

The one with straps looks great, but don't risk ordering a dress you haven't seen up close and personal. There was one alfred angelo dress that my girls were all in love with online, but once they put it on they very quickly changed their minds and went with a similar one that was just cut differntly from bill levkoff. You need to have at least a bridesmaid or two try it on b/c there are also those ones that look great on the hanger but not on the person and the ones that look just ehhh on the hanger but then when you put them on it's like hey....wait a second....this is nice!

The only thing is that it's Ann Taylor so you can order online and they send them right away like anything in their store. They also have free returns for formal wear.

I actually wore won of these dresses in a wedding! they were very nice...all silk and i didn;t feel silly in it. Super easy too b/c many of the bridesmaids were from El Salvador. We got tons of compliments on them and they weren;t too expensive. Note though, they run a little big.

They sell them in the Anne Taylor store uptown like on 57th & madison (around there somewhere). Maybe worth a trip to see them but they were nice.

I got my BM dresses from Ann Taylor over the summer. I was very pleased with them. The dresses are a nice material and quality, and the color looks like the picture. I can't speak for the meadow green though since the dresses I got were a different color. They are in my album. And if you don't like them, you just call them up, and they DHL picks up the dresses from your house and ships them back free.

I know! I love everything you have picked so far.

I have a problem with the dresses though. The V-neck one is now only in Chocolate. It was in Sage yesterday!!! Did you buy them in the store or online?

I made my girls buy them in July when they were in the stores b/c the saleswoman said they weren't going to be around much longer.

Some bought online, a few bought in the stores. They got them in all different styles in the meadow green.

I think you might be out of luck if they don't have any more. I think they were discontinuing the green (?) but I'm not 100% sure.

The one on Madison (?) is the only one that really had them in the stores. My girls went to Walt Whitman mall and said they only had a few, so they went into the city and bought them there.

I think so too. I saw that the blues are coming in soon. I'm actually thinking about calling around to stores, ordering them in a bunch of sizes so my girls can try them on and then returning what we don't need. I can't believe they are offline the day after I saw them!

Make sure your girls try them on though. Some of my girls hated those dresses. They're silk and cling to parts of the body they didn't want to emphasize. They decided on a different style in a stronger and less clingy silk shantung. While my taller thinner BMs really liked that dress.

I'll make sure. All of my girls are petite- all under 5' 3'. 2 girls are very slim. 2 are curvy, 1 of which just had a baby. My sister, MOH is 4' 11', size 0 with DD's so she is going to have the most trouble.

whoa!! I'll be honest, I don't know how they are going to look on shorter people. They're a little long.

they had the color in the walt whitman mall but not in that style. i love that color green but didn't really love it on my sister; we went with the espresso in a different style dress
