We are desperately trying to sell our car since we moved to the city. We have put it in the newspaper and craigslist.com, but just a few people have shown interest and no offers. Has anyone had luck with either of these? We're not sure which is best. Any help would be appreciated.

I will be putting my VW bus on ebay someday this week..so I will let you know how it works. My father and my brother have both sold cars in ebay within just a few days and viewed it as an excellent process/ I havent placed my bus in the paper, but did try an online site and have had a couple crazy criminal type people contact me..promising to add a few thousand to the total and asking for all kinds of info from me..when i ask about them..I dont hear back from them. So I dont want to waste any more time with them..I have a few people interested from that same website who seem guneinely interested..but i feel that ebay is a safe way to sell something.

We put FH's 95 Honda Civic on Cars.com last July and it sold within one week. We had about 15 responses from that ad....so I would definitely recommend it.

I sold my car in the buylines once, and my last car I put in newsday and cars.com and I didnt get many responses.
