Has anyone started planning for 2010 yet? Hear it may be difficult being that its 'so far' away.

I started, looking into halls online, dresses, invites and such, but now there is a strong chance that we may wind up in New Jersey next year, so I may have to switch planning to Jersey.

we havent booked a date yet. im hoping for an '09 wedding but we are starting to look at halls now and get pricing. if everything is too expensive then we may have to wait till 2010. but i def dont think its too early. its almost '08 !!! checking out prices is not a bad idea

I called 2 halls to go look at and one told me it was too far in advance (already rubbed me the wrong way) to book, which is fine. Then when I asked if I could come just look, they said 'fine'. Anyone else encounter this problem or are halls booking for 2010 yet?

we got engaged in the summer of 06. then set a date & changed it. we booked our hall the fall of 06 and i'm glad we did b/c we didn't have to pay 2007 prices. it's always good to try & book that early b/c you'll save money. just depends on the hall. some halls won't want you booking that early in advance. russo's was great w/us though.

I am probably going to start visiting halls this friday, not sure yet. FH and I went to a wedding this sunday, and he looked at me during it and said we should find a place.
So Off I go lol. Time to start running =)
As for it being to early, I got a quote from Leonards a while ago, and they said someone had just booked for 2012.... Talk about early

Well, Pat and I booked a date. I guess that is a start! And, we are looking at two places that I have my heart set on. I picked my hair person for the big day... I guess that's it for now!

I now have about 1/2 the wedding stuff except the Hall, church, bridesmaids dresses and the perfect pair of comfortable, sexy shoes lol...Looking for bridesmaids dresses are a killer!! I thought that it was going to be easy but it really isn't. First you want them to look good but you don't want them to outshine you..anyone feeling the same way i am? Where would you guys recommend to look for bridesmaids dresses?
