Has anyone stayed at the Venetian or Mirage in Las Vegas?
The Las Vegas will be our second stop on our honeymoon, we're staying 5 days there at a resort and 3 days in Las Vegas. We're trying to decide on a hotel in Vegas. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

I personally think the Venetian is much more romantic. It was my favorite hotel the last time I went to Vegas.

Personally, I prefer the Bellagio to the Venetian. JMO.

The Venetian is very romantic. They also boast having the largest standard hotel rooms in the world. Their gondola rides are a lot of fun and they have the BEST shopping on the Grand Canal!

I've stayed at the Venetian. It's the only place I've stayed in Vegas and I love it! The rooms are really amazing!

FH and I are staying at the Luxor for one part of our HM. It is beautiful inside. We are going to have a suite in one of the corners of the pyramid. We got a really great deal. FM me if you want any more info.
I went to vegas once before and stayed at Treasure Island, which is owned by Mirage. It was very nice. Everyplace on the strip really is a great hotel. I viseted them all when I was there and I really would have chosen any one of them to stay in. They each have their own cool special touches inside.

A friend of mine stayed at the Venetian, he said it was amazing... the room, the hotel itself, everything was great.

I stayed at the venetian about three years ago and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. My favorite part was the bathroom !! It was huge with vanity, bathtub, shower !!

I am going to Vegas in December of this year and FH and I are staying at the Mirage. I will give a review when I get back so you will know how it is currently

FH just recently went to Vegas and stayed at the Venetian. He said it was really nice and I saw pics of the suite he was in. Very nice and lots to do there.

FH and I stayed at the Venetian 2 years ago. It was AMAZING. They overbooked us for one night so they ended up upgrading us to a HUGE suite with 2 bathrooms, 3 televisons, 2 refrigerators, etc. The room was like twice the size of our apartment. UNBELIEVABLE!!
They also added another wing to the hotel since we stayed there last.

I stayed at the Venetian this past Labor Day and the hotel is amazing!!!! The rooms are gorgeous it has tons of shops, HIGHLY recommend it!

I have stayed at the Venetian twice and I LOVE IT!!! The hotel is amazing. It is soooooo beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and they are also mini suites. The service also has been great both times that I stayed there. It has become our favorite hotel in Vegas.

i stayed at the mirage in a suite it was very nice. it had 2 bathrooms in it i didnt want to leave.
i hear the venetian is nice too
for my hm we have voted vegas as well but its not until 2005 and we are considering the venetian

bellagio - in a lake view room. It is most midstrip hotel, I also stayed at Venetian, very nice too but Bellagio nicer in my opinion

I agree, the Bellagio is the most opulent hotel on the Strip but overly priced and rarely discounted. The Venetian is beautiful, the rooms are tasteful and new and you can sometimes get a deal on them! Don't stay at the Mirage, it's a bit dated, think Dan Tanna from Vegas (I may be dating myself)...it's very '70s.

We went to las vegas for our honeymoon on sept 5. stayed at the venetian, and had the best time. We went to all the other hotels, and honestly this was by far the best hotel out there. the restaurants, shopping casino, hotel rooms, spa pool everything is GREAT! The mirage is no where near the venetian. believe me you wont regret it. good luck

I just came back from Vegas last Monday. We stayed at the Monte Carlo Hotel there which was one of the nicer, older hotels. We visited both the Bellagio and the Venetian and they are both beatiful hotels. The next time I go to Vegas, I am planning to stay in one of those two hotels. For your honeymoon, I would suggest the Venetian - they have the gondola rides there and the atmosphere is romantic.
